Novel Grieving

It's always a difficult time, finishing a book and moving on with life. The characters have become my friends, or enemies depending on the story, and I miss them. I recently finished The Time Traveler's Wife... so very good! I will miss Clare and Henry. There is some reassurance in knowing that Henry is out there in time somewhere.

Now onto a book in which I should get to know myself more, instead of fictional characters... A New Earth. I started last night and used my highlighter/post-it pen within the first couple pages. I'm gonna dig deep with this one!

Clare and Henry are my favorites. I read it again when we were in Mexico! I have A New Earth, maybe I should start it so we can compare notes.

Court, you should definitely start A New Earth. After Angie was talking about her book club on her blog and Tre and I were talking about book swaps, I started thinking last night that I want to start a book club. Maybe you and I could get something going, and I think this would be a book to discuss (from what I can tell early on).

I can totally relate! I hate finishing a great book, I know that the next one won't be as great! It usually takes a bit to find another great one!
